From the good 1978 vintage and scoring 87/100 Parker points, "This is one of the very best St.-Emilions of this vintage....Dark ruby, with some amber at the edge, this wine has a deep, rich, ripe fruity, oaky bouquet that suggests a Medoc more than a St.-Emilion.
