From the outstanding 1998 vintage and scoring 90/100 Parker points, "The 1998 Coudoulet rouge is dominated by the warmth and glycerin of the Grenache component. A dark ruby/purple color is followed by a jammy, sweet nose of black fruits, pepper, and spice. In the mouth, cherry jam emerges, along with a chewy, long finish."
