Scoring 86/100 Parker points and from the good 1996 vintage, this lovely red wine from the famous Chapoutier House "The 1996 Crozes-Hermitage Petite Ruche, which is aged completely in cuve and already bottled, displays a deep ruby/purple color, followed by a gorgeous nose of blackberry/cassis fruit, not much complexity, but fine acidity, and gobs of ripe fruit in a medium-bodied format." Drink now - 2009. A marvellous gift.
