From the outstanding 1998 vintage and scoring 87/100 Parker points, "The 1998 Cotes du Ventoux (95% Syrah and 5% Grenache from a single estate) is a fruit-dominated effort that achieved 14.5% natural alcohol. It reveals copious quantities of blackberries and cherries in its fruity personality. The low acidity, high glycerin, and heady alcohol make for a boisterous, hedonistic wine to drink over the next several years." Drink now - 2009.
