Scoring 89-91/100 Parker points and from the good 1997 vintage "The 1997 Cornas Les Ruchets possesses a deep opaque ruby/purple color, and a reserved, but impressively built personality with tell-tale cassis intermixed with licorice, minerals, and smoke. Dense and full-bodied, with outstanding purity and length, the 1997 is forward, but should spend 2-3 years in the cellar. It will keep for 12-15 years." Drink now - 2015.
