This delicious red wine from the very good 2005 vintage is a dense ruby/garnet-coloured wine with a big, smoky, melted road tar, peppery, kirsch-scented nose of moderate complexity. In the mouth, it is fleshy, with lively fruit, excellent ripeness and a nicely-textured and layered feel. Drink now - 2012. A wonderful gift.
