From the outstanding 2003 vintage and scoring 90-92/100 Parker points, "A brilliant effort that is worth buying by the case is the 2003 Crozes-Hermitage Thalabert. One has only to go back and taste the '90 Thalabert to realize how long these wines can age. A fabulous bargain, the 2003 has more in common with a great Hermitage than a Crozes-Hermitage. Its deep purple color is accompanied by sumptuous, smoky aromas of black currants, cherries, Asian spices, and incense. Full-bodied, with superb glycerin, ripeness, and moderate tannin, it should hit its prime in 2-3 years, and last for 12-15. " Drink now - 2021.
