Scoring 86/100 Parker points, this delightful red wine from the outstanding 1989 vintage "is opulently rich and more precocious than usual, possesses layers of cassis fruit intertwined with scents of herbs and toasty oak. Surprisingly fleshy for De Pez, with low acidity, this full-bodied effort will drink well young, but boasts the requisite depth and balance to last for 12-15 years." Drink now - 2012.
