From the outstanding 2004 vintage and scoring 90/100 Parker points, "A winner is the 2004 Perrin et Fils Vacqueyras Les Christins Vieilles Vignes, which is 80% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and from the same 20-acre single vineyard of old vines. Very Provencal with notes of garrigue, kirsch liqueur, raspberries, licorice, and ground pepper, this is a chewy, full-bodied wine that is a knock-out and a big sleeper selection from 2004."
