From the good 2002 vintage and scoring 89-91/100 Parker points, this delicious red Bordeaux wine is "This is a stern, broodingly backward yet promisingly concentrated, classic, uncompromising effort with a saturated purple color as well as notes of minerals, creme de cassis, cherries, and crushed stones. Dense, medium to full-bodied, excruciatingly tannic and backward, it should not be touched for the next decade, after which it will live for 25 years." Drink now - 2038.
