Pujun Roero Arneis 2001 Mauro Barbero - Arneis is one of the best white grapes and white wines of Piemonte (In the northwest of Italy). From the very good 2001 vintage, this wine has an intriguing nose with good depth and is very round with a lovely finish.

Gavi 2003 Michele Chiarlo - From the very good 2003 vintage, this stunning Gavi has a light mouth feel with a strong mineral flavour, a little heat, and and almond flavour with a slight taste of grapefruit on the finish.
