Scoring 85/100 Parker points and from the very good 1964 vintage, this is "A delicious, yet chunky, four square sort of wine, the 1964 Pichon Lalande continues to evolve in the bottle. It exhibits an appealing black currant and herb-scented, earthy, spicy, almost Graves-like bouquet. In the mouth, the wine has soft, nicely endowed, ripe flavors that have reached full maturity."
