From the outstanding 1995 vintage, this red wine scores 90/100 Parker points and "The 1995 Chateauneuf du Pape is the finest wine I have tasted under the Brunier administration. It possesses a deep ruby/purple color, and an excellent black cherry, herbes de Provence, olive, and peppery-scented nose. The wine achieved 14.5% natural alcohol, and offers plenty of glycerin in its opulent, rich, full-bodied texture. Some tannin is present, but the wine's overall impression is one of lusciousness, generosity, and copious quantities of fruit and extract." Drink now - 2013.
