Bordeaux had good weather and produced a late harvested pleasant vintage. An average vintage for Red and White Burgundy but the Cote du Rhone suffered very poor weather. In Portugal, the Tawny (Colheita) Ports that were produced are excellent and the Vintage Ports are also of a good quality. Italy had a very good vintage, especially for Barolo.

What a year! Bordeaux had stunning weather and produced a stunning vintage. It was a good vintage for Red Burgundy and outstanding for white Burgundy.
