From the outstanding 2007 vintage and scoring 96/100 Parker Points, "The entry level cuvee from this terrific estate is the 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape, and it checks in as a mix of 75% Grenache, 12% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre, with the balance other permitted varieties. I should have bought a case of this as it’s as classic Southern Rhône as they come and offers ripe, full-throttle notes of cured meats, black raspberries, incense and spice. Full-bodied, complex and loaded with character, it has impeccable tannin quality and will keep for another decade." Drink now - 2027.

From the very good 2012 vintage and scoring 89/100 Parker points, "A serious Beaumes de Venise, the 2012 Grangeneuve is made from a mix of Grenache, Syrah, Carignan and Viognier that spent one year in old foudre. It exhibits impressive notes of plum, raspberry, ground pepper and spice. This is followed by a medium-bodied, supple and complex red that has good richness, moderate concentration and lots of charm. It should drink nicely for another 5-6 years." Drink now - 2025.

2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee 2011 Domaine Grand Veneur

From the very good 2011 vintage and scoring 90/100 Parker points, "Looking at the 2011s, all of which are certainly solid in the vintage, the forward, up-front and nicely textured Grand Veneur 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape delivers loads of black raspberry, toast, licorice and spice-box to go with a medium-bodied, supple and polished feel on the palate. There’s not a whole lot of back-end depth here, and it should be consumed early in its life, but it’s perfectly balanced, has loads of character and is hard to resist. While delicious now, it should hit prime time in another 2-3 years and evolve gracefully through 2021." Drink now - 2021.

This vintage wine is shipped in a deluxe silk lined wooden presentation box with four wine accessories (corkscrew, wine pourer, drip stopper & wine thermometer) [worth £17.99] at no extra cost and now includes a free gift card with your personal message and tasting and storage notes.

2007 Domaine Grand Veneur Cuvee Les Origines 2007 Domaine Grand Veneur

From the outstanding 2007 vintage and scoring 90/100 Parker points, 'I'd wager one of the finest examples of this cuvee ever made (the 2009 and 2010 will give it run for its money), the sensational 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee les Origines from the Jaume family is a perfect example of a modern styled Chateauneuf du Pape that never loses its Southern Rhone soul. Made from 50% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre and 20% Syrah that was aged in equal parts barrels and tanks, it offers a ripe, pedal-to-the-metal bouquet of ripe black fruits, charred meats, pan drippings, saddle leather and garrigue that continues to open up with time in the glass. On the palate, it's full-bodied, beautifully concentrated and layered, with sweet, sweet tannin and a great finish. This closed down shortly after release but is just now staring to show its true potential. Drink bottles anytime over the coming decade.." Drink now - 2027.

2011 Chateauneuf du Pape les Hauts Lieux 2011 Domaine de la Vieille Julienne

From the very good 2011 vintage and scoring 94/100 Parker points, "Coming from a higher elevation, cooler terroir and limestone soils, the 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Les Hauts Lieux is a total rock star in the vintage and checks in as a blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Mourvedre and the balance Counoise and Cinsault, which was aged all in foudre. Harvested very late (and this estate normally harvests on the early side) and not wrapping up until October, it possesses gorgeous purity, with mineral-tinged aromas of blackberry, currants, licorice, ground herbs and violets all soaring from the glass. An all-around powerful, structured and rich 2011, with a full-bodied mouthfeel, terrific acidity and big tannin, it will be one of the longest-lived wines in the vintage. Give it 2-3 years in the cellar, and drink bottles through 2026." Drink now - 2026.

2006 Chateauneuf du Pape 2006 Domaine de Marcoux

From the outstanding 2006 vintage and scoring 93/100 Parker points, "I’ve had numerous bottles of the 2006 Chateauneuf du Pape recently and it never fails to disappoint. Always a rough blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah and Mourvèdre, aged all in concrete tanks, this classic beauty is loaded with notions of kirsch liqueur, wild strawberries, gamy meats and olive tapenade. Medium to full-bodied, seamless, silky and elegant, you can't go wrong here, and this will provide immense drinking pleasure anytime over the coming decade (although I see no need to delay gratification)." 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Domaine de la Janasse 2011 Cuvee Chaupin

From the very good 2011 vintage, this red wine scores 95/100 Parker points and "Coming from a cooler, sandy terroir in the northeastern part of the appellation, the 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Chaupin (which comes 80% from the Chaupoin lieu-dit and 20% from the La Janasse lieu-dit, hence the subtle name change) is 100% Grenache, from vines planted in 1912, that’s aged two-thirds in foudre and one-third in demi-muid. Gorgeous all around, with plenty of similarities to the traditional cuvee, yet slightly richer and fuller, it delivers beautiful mulled red and black fruits, licorice, spice and tinges of stony minerality on the nose. Full-bodied, supple, seamless and elegant, with fine tannin, it makes the most of a difficult vintage and is certainly one of the top 10-12 wines." Drink now - 2023.

2013 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieux Donjon 2013

From the good 2013 vintage, this stunning wine scores 90/100 Parker points "Showing even better from bottle than barrel, the outstanding 2013 Châteauneuf du Pape is a slightly shifted blend of 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 20% Mourvèdre that saw the normal traditional vinification (50% destemmed) and aging in foudre. It reveals a healthy ruby/purple color to go with lots of pepper, Provençal herbs and currants. Medium-bodied, with more density than the 2014, it shows the slightly austere edge to the vintage, yet has a beautiful texture, ripe tannin and an excellent finish. It will have 10-15 years or overall longevity." Drink now - 2030.

1996 Hermitage, La Chapelle Paul Jaboulet Aine 1996

Scoring 92/100 Parker points and from the good 1996 vintage, "The 1996 Hermitage La Chapelle is immensely impressive. The acidity is high. The color is black/purple, and the wine is extremely concentrated, but unevolved and impossible to penetrate. It could turn out like the '83 and never develop as well as its early promise suggests. Nevertheless, it is a massive effort with extraordinary concentration" Drink now - 2025.

2005 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Reservee 2005 Domaine du Pegau

From the outstanding 2005 vintage, and scoring 92/100 Parker points,"The 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee Reservee (normally a blend of approximately 80% Grenache and the rest Syrah and Mourvedre) exhibits a deep ruby/plum/garnet hue along with lots of grilled meat juices, roasted Provencal herbs, tar, blackberries and black currants. The wine is medium to full-bodied, still firm and tannic. It is those tannins that make the 2005 somewhat reminiscent of a tight, more austere-styled vintage such as 1995. The 2005 needs at least another 4-5 years of cellaring, and should last for 20 years or more." Drink now - 2034.

2012 Chateauneuf-du-Pape La Crau 2012 Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe

From the very good 2012 vintage and scoring 93/100 Parker Points, "Lastly, the flagship 2012 Châteauneuf du Pape is a classically structured, elegant effort that will evolve gracefully on its balance and harmony. Showing the telltale seaweed, currants, olive, licorice and ample minerality so common in this cuvee, it’s medium to full-bodied, lightly textured and focused on the palate, with plenty of tannin. It needs 3-4 years of cellaring and will have 15-20 years of longevity." Drink now - 2032.

This vintage wine is shipped in a deluxe silk lined wooden presentation box with four wine accessories (corkscrew, wine pourer, drip stopper & wine thermometer) [worth £17.99] at no extra cost and now includes a free gift card with your personal message and tasting and storage notes.

From the outstanding 2000 vintage and scoring 95/100 Parker points,"The Burgundian-styled 2000 Chateauneuf du Pape is drinking at point today. Possessing beautiful notes of forest floor, truffles, spice, garrigue and sweet cherry and kirsch like fruit, this beauty has notable freshness and purity, medium to full-bodied richness, fine tannin and a layered, integrated texture that keeps you coming back to the glass. There's no need to delay gratification here and I'd enjoy bottles over the coming 4-5 years." Drink now - 2025.

This vintage wine is shipped in a deluxe silk lined wooden presentation box with four wine accessories (corkscrew, wine pourer, drip stopper & wine thermometer) [worth £17.99] at no extra cost.

1995 Chateauneuf du Pape 1995 Chateau de Beaucastel

From the outstanding 1995 vintage and scoring 93/100 Parker points "It exhibits a deep dark ruby/purple color, and a provocative (probably controversial) aromatic profile of animal fur, tar, truffles, black cherries, cassis, licorice, and minerals. A medium to full-bodied wine, with a boatload of tannin, considerable grip and structure, and a weighty feel in the mouth, this appears to be a classic vin de garde made in the style of the '78 Beaucastel " Drink now - 2026.
