What credit cards do you accept?
MasterCard, Visa, Visa debit, Eurocard, American Express, Maestro/Switch, Delta Visa Electron, Laser, Solo and JCB. We also use Paypal.
Is you site secure?
We use Sagepay with state of the art encryption and secure sockets layer (SSL) technology for the transfer of your credit card information for your total peace of mind.

We also have security measures in place to restrict access and protect our customer database.
Can I send you my credit card details by fax?
Yes, when it comes to the payment method just click fax through credit card details and then print off the order and fax it to vintagewinegifts on 020 8746 0709.
Can I pay by cheque?
Yes, when it comes to the payment method just click cheque with order and then print off the order and send it to vintagewinegifts. Goods will only be despatched when the cheque has cleared.
How do I know my purchase has been authorised?
You will receive an e - mail from the credit card company telling you that the card has been debited.
Do you hold my credit card information?
No, we only hold your personal details when you have registered with us.
Will I get spammed from other sites if I register with you?
We never pass on or sell our details from our customer database to anyone.

DELIVERY

How long does delivery take?
We can deliver next day (for a 6.99 charge) for all orders received before 16:20. For other orders we deliver within five working days or on any future specified date.
When do you deliver?
Monday Friday 0930 1730. Our couriers do not deliver on Bank Holidays. We can deliver on Saturday for an additional fee.
Can I specify a different delivery address to my own address?
No problem.
Can I send a gift message with my purchase?
Yes, just fill in the prompt when you purchase the bottle.
Can I send you my own card to be sent with the gift?
No problem at all. Just send it to us and we will put it with the bottle.
Can you tell me on which day and at what time the gift will be delivered?
We will e - mail you to tell you when the goods have been dispatched and the date of delivery, the time of delivery and who signed for the delivery, if the goods are shipped as a gift to someone else. We cannot do timed deliveries. Alternatively you can tell us in the delivery instructions box what day you want delivery.
What if there is no one in when the gift arrives?
A card will be left asking the depot to be contacted with details of when someone will be at home to accept the item. The bottle can be delivered to a neighbour if requested. After two attempted deliveries, if the bottle has still not be delivered an additional delivery charge of 5.99 is payable or if you wish to cancel the order, a 20% handling charge will be deducted.
Can anyone accept the delivery?
By law we cannot deliver to anyone who is under 18.
Can you ship abroad?
Yes, we ship most countries. Call 020 8746 7771 for details.
How do I know when my gift has been delivered?
You will be sent a confirmation e - mail.
If I buy a bottle for under 39. and pay for next day delivery is the delivery then free?
Sorry, the offer only applies to bottles costing over 39.
If I order two bottles costing under 39. but the total is over 39 is the delivery free?
Yes, as long as they are both going to the same address.
What if the bottle is broken?

All the bottles delivered by vintagewinegifts.co.uk are packaged securely.

You will be asked to sign for the bottle saying it is in good condition. An identical bottle will be delivered free of charge as long as the courier is notified of the breakage at the time the bottle is delivered. If the wine is no longer available a wine of the same or higher value will be offered and only with your approval will it be shipped. If you do not want a different wine a refund will be offered.
Are the items insured?
All items carry insurance up to 10,000.

ORDERING

Can I order two bottles to go to two different addresses?
You can only do this by ordering them separately.
Can I order a case of 12 bottles?
Vintagewinegifts deliver beautifully packaged single bottles. You can order more than one but you must e mail us to check stock availability.
What is included in the gift package?
All Bottles less than 29.96 come in a wooden box. All bottles over 29.97 are packed in a silk lined wooden case with four wine assessories. The gift comes with tasting and storage notes and any gift message required.
What if I find the same bottle cheaper?
If you find the bottle that you have purchased cheaper online within 30 days from the date of purchase, assuming the bottle is identical and available we will gladly refund the difference less the cost of the luxury box and accessories as we have to compare the like with like purchase. If the retailer is only selling the bottle then there is not a direct comparison and we will make an allowance for the box.
Prices and payment
All prices are quoted in sterling. The price you see is the price you pay. Delivery prices include VAT, postage and packing and insurance charges.
What is your refund policy?
Should the wine be corked it must be returned to our cellars, in the original packaging and original condition within one year from the date of purchase for a replacement. Should the particular wine not be available another wine of no lesser price/quality may be substituted. We will only replace the original corked bottle and not any subsequent bottle that may also be corked. If the replacement bottle is to be shipped outside the UK a new delivery charge is payable. Our corkage policy does not apply to trade sales and for customers connected with the wine trade.
What happens if I am not happy with the purchase?
Should you not like the bottle for any reason, return it to us, in its original packaging, within 30 days from the date of delivery for a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
What is the condition of your bottles?
All our wine is stored in ideal temperature controlled conditions but some of our bottles, due to their age, may have labels that are wine stained, torn or faded. If you are not happy with the bottle just return it for a full refund.
What happens when I register?
The site will keep all your details, except any credit card information, making it easier for you to purchase in future.

How do I search for a particular bottle?
Easy, on the home page you can enter the wine name year or any word into the search box and click go. A list of all the bottles matching the search word will appear on the screen. You can search by price, year, region or drink using the drop down menus using the quick search facility.
How do I browse all your wines?
Use the buttons at the top of the page where it is marked "shop here" click on the choices available and run through the cascading menus.
Can you find me a wine that is not listed on the site?
Just e - mail us and we will do our best.
