1974 was a difficult year with a cool summer not assisting wine producers throughout Europe. In Portugal, there were Single vintage ports produced, but Taylor's 40 year old tawny is an excellent choice. A non declared vintage in Champagne. The vintage wines tasted by our wine buyer have held up remarkable well and although light are still drinking well.
