An average vintage from Bordeaux but few wines have survived. It was a good vintage for Red Burgundy. It was a poor vintage in the Northern Rhone and Southern Cote du Rhone. In Portugal Tawny ports are excellent.
Armagnac is a good choice for this vintage.
